The fair INTERGEO 2015 is taking place in Stuttgart, Germany 15.-17. September 2015. The GIScience Research Group Heidelberg University will be present at the joint booth of the GeoNet.MRN, the Network Geoinformation of the Metropolitain Region Rhine-Neckar. There you will also find further members of the GeoNet.MRN, like the companies Heidelberg Mobil, geomer and Leiner & Wolff.
GIScience Heidelberg contributes to research and development of GIS methods and technologies and offers a wide range of competencies in several application domains from disaster management, navigation, energy, health, urban modeling to landuse and digital humanities. Beyond that it covers methods and technologies for e.g. SDI development to Big Spatial Data analysis (e.g. geo-social media and sensors), cartography or OSM data quality assessment, as well as 3D data processing, analysis & management (e.g. Lidar).
The group offers a range of GI Web Services (often based on OpenStreetMap) such as OpenRouteService.org or OpenMapSurfer.uni-hd.de. Please contact us if you are interested in collaboration or usage of our services.
