ECSA Webinar on #citizenscience for monitoring urban landscape dynamics with GIScience Heidelberg

Jan 27th, 2018 by GIScienceHD

Join the next ECSA webinar on “Citizen Science for monitoring urban landscape dynamics”!

The European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) will host a webinar on the topic of “Citizen Science for monitoring urban landscape dynamics”. The webinar will include two talks:

  • Assessing urban green space in Vienna (by Gebhard Banko and Barbara Birli from the Austrian Environmental Agency)
  • Using OpenStreetMap for Citizen Science (by Michael Schultz from the GIScience research group at the Heidelberg University) talking about OSMLanduse.org that has recently been extended with remote sensing data for all of Germany and OSM quality analytics with the new ( OpenStreetmap History Analytics Platform –
    http://ohsome.org
) by GIScience HD and HeiGIT.org

There will also be time for a Q&A session/discussion, following the presentations.

When:

1st of February, 16:30-17:30 CET
